Xi Jinping pointed out that in May this year, President Putin successfully made a state visit to China. From a strategic and long-term perspective, we have made arrangements to guide the development of bilateral relations towards higher quality and level, and reached a consensus on deepening cooperation between China and Russia in various fields under the new circumstances. The competent authorities of both countries are actively implementing these measures, and many achievements have been made. There is a thriving momentum in exchanges and cooperation between the two sides. It is believed that with our strategic guidance and the joint efforts of both sides, the foundation of Sino-Russian relations will be even more solid, the progress will be more steady, and the prospects will be brighter.

Xi Jinping emphasized that currently, the world is experiencing accelerated changes over a century-long period, and there are significantly more uncertainties and unpredictable factors in the international situation. However, the pursuit of peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit by people around the world remains unchanged. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization bears the important mission of maintaining regional stability and promoting regional development. China is willing to work with all parties, including Russia, to jointly formulate strategies for the organization's development, to help the organization achieve steady progress and longevity, and to strengthen its role in leading global governance reforms and promoting an equal and orderly multipolarization of the world.

Putin said that in the face of a turbulent and complex international situation, Russia and China continue to deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperation. They adhere to equality, mutual trust, and support among each other. Cooperation in various fields is developing rapidly, and Russia-China relations have become a model of state-to-state relations. Russia is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with China, strengthen cooperation in trade, energy, industry, transportation, science and technology, and other areas, and enhance cultural exchanges, thereby promoting continuous progress in bilateral relations. With the joint efforts of all parties, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has become a regionally influential and efficient platform for cooperation. Russia and China should continue to strengthen unity and cooperation within the organization and play a leading role. Russia is also willing to enhance coordination with China within multilateral mechanisms such as the United Nations, the BRICS mechanism, and the G20, and support China in hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum Leaders' Informal Meeting. Together, we can work to maintain world peace, stability, and prosperity.

The two heads of state also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
