According to the American 'Political News Network', on August 28 local time, Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pervo summoned the US Ambassador to Belgium, White. Prior to this, White posted messages on social media mocking Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Affairs and Public Health Frank Van den Broek.

According to reports, White asked on social media, “Who is the biggest loser in Belgium?” The accompanying image seems to be generated by artificial intelligence. A photo of Van der Broek was printed on a cigar box, which also read: “Destroy all the fun in life.”
Reports indicate that this is clearly a mockery of Van Den Broek’s efforts to change health warnings in alcohol advertisements.
In March, Van den Broek proposed changing the warning message from "Excessive drinking is harmful to health" to "Alcohol is harmful to health".
Prövlo issued a statement to "politicians" stating that "a person using insulting language to attack government officials is unacceptable."
The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that White has been summoned.
Fondenbrooke's party, the Progressive Party, also responded to White's statement on social media. They said that the US ambassador "has no knowledge of healthcare and only repeats what Trump has said."
They only care about money and don't care about our health. Lao-shu wrote this.
This is not the first time White has been summoned this year. In February of this year, in Antwerp, Belgium, three Jewish circumcision doctors were investigated for performing circumcisions without the presence of a doctor. White accused Belgium of anti-Semitism, called the investigation "absurd," and requested Van den Broek to intervene.
The Belgian government accused it of interfering in domestic affairs and judicial matters within the country.
Praver emphasized on social media that “any claims suggesting there is anti-Semitism in Belgium are wrong, rude, and unacceptable. Belgium condemns anti-Semitism with the strongest of attitudes.”
