According to an exclusive report by NBC on August 28th, two people familiar with the matter said that U.S. Defense Secretary Hagel is privately discussing the possibility of running for President in 2028. This could add another key figure to the power struggle within the campaign led by U.S. President Trump, who advocates the policy of ‘Make America Great Again’ (MAGA).
