Regarding this, the Iranian Fars News Agency denied that "Trump continued to claim in his delusions that 'the Hormuz Strait is American territory".
Previously on the 14th, Trump claimed that Iran was suffering a crushing defeat. “Soon after we completely defeat Iran, I will announce that the Strait of Hormuz is part of American territory.” He chuckled when saying this and added, “That’s true.”
