According to the American 'Axios News Network', White House Deputy National Security Advisor Andy Beck will resign in the coming weeks.
According to reports, over the past 18 months, Baker has been one of the most important advisors to Trump’s foreign and national security decision-making team. This year, Baker also personally participated in negotiations related to Iran.
Beck stated in a statement: "This journey is of great significance. I am proud of all the achievements we have made. Of course, I also express my deep gratitude to the President, the Vice President, and Secretary Rubicot."
A source familiar with Baker said that he wants to spend more time with his family. To ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities, he will stay in his position for several more months than originally planned.
According to reports, 46-year-old Beck is expected to move into the private sector and work alongside Robert O'Brien, the fourth National Security Advisor during Trump’s first term in office.
