Kohen Claims Visits to Iranian Nuclear Facility Following US Bombings

According to the Israel Times, reported on the 11th local time, Yossi Kohen, who was the director of the Israeli Intelligence and Security Agency (Mossad), claimed at a forum that he had visited the Iranian Fardoo uranium enrichment facility several times in the past. This facility was bombed by US military forces in June 2025.

Kohhen said, “We visited the Fawdore nuclear facility several times in order to understand it.” He also stated, “The bombing of this facility by Americans meant the realization of all my dreams.”

According to reports, Koen did not specify when these “visits” took place, nor did he reveal who exactly visited the facility.

In June 2025, the United States carried out strikes against three nuclear facilities in Iran: Fawdar, Natanz, and Isfahan. It is reported that 440 kilograms of highly enriched uranium stored in these facilities were buried.

Kohen said, “Uranium with a concentration of 60% is still far from being usable to make bombs.” The Israel Times noted that this contradicts the views of other nuclear experts, who believe that uranium with a concentration of 60% could be enriched to weapons-grade level within weeks.

Kohén has also openly discussed Mossad's actions against Iran in the past.

He claimed that Mossad had previously stolen Iranian nuclear documents from a safe in a warehouse in Tehran. He also said he was “very familiar with several Iranian nuclear facilities.” In a documentary episode, he even suggested that if given the opportunity, he could take the host to Iran’s Natanz underground nuclear facility.
