Wang Yi expressed his gratitude to Žiljica for attending the high-level meeting of the Security Council organized by China. He noted that President Vucic was visiting China, and this visit was of great significance for promoting bilateral relations. The two heads of state engaged in deep strategic communication, enhancing mutual trust and friendship, and reached broad consensus. President Xi Jinping personally awarded President Vucic the Friendship Medal of the Peoples Republic of China. The two countries also issued two important cooperation documents. Serbia became the first country to issue a joint statement with China regarding support for the four major global initiatives. This fully demonstrates the uniqueness and high level of Sino-Serbian relations.

Wang Yi stated that China firmly supports Serbia in maintaining national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and appreciates Serbias adherence to the one-China principle. In the next stage, the important task for both sides is to implement the consensus reached by their heads of state. They should strengthen exchanges at all levels, advance the construction of the Hungarian-Serbian railway, expand cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence and new energy, enhance coordination and cooperation on platforms like the United Nations, and promote the construction of a common destiny between China and Serbia in the new era.

Koulič said it was an honor to be invited to attend the high-level meeting of the Security Council, and to join China in expressing a common voice in upholding the United Nations Charter and adhering to multilateralism. President Vucics visit to China was a historic state visit. Both sides signed a series of cooperation documents, outlining the future development of their bilateral relations.
