Fadeyev said that Russia sees the Japanese government continuing to promote militarization again, and using so-called political excuses from Russia and China to justify its actions.
The Russian side wishes to emphasize once again that it is not cooperation between Russia and China that has a negative impact on global and regional security. Instead, it is a series of measures taken by the Japanese leadership, including betraying the pacifist provisions of the Japanese constitution, re-examining its commitments, particularly the so-called "Three Non-Nuclear Principles," and forgetting about the consequences and historical lessons of World War II.
The Russian side hopes that the commemorative activities held in the United States on the anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki will remind the Japanese government that there is no other alternative to the path of peace. Japan must firmly follow this path.
