According to previous reports, recently, Foshan Jihua Middle School announced the total scores for the 2026 teacher recruitment campaign. Among them, the person who finally made it onto the physical examination list for the physics teacher position caused controversy.
Netizens pointed out that among the 18 candidates who entered the interview, the top 13 candidates based on their written test scores were eliminated. In contrast, the bottom 5 candidates managed to “make a comeback” and made it onto the final physical examination list, raising questions about whether this situation is abnormal.

According to the list of candidates shortlisted for interviews and the overall score table published by Ji Hua Middle School for the 2026 public recruitment of teaching staff, there are 15 candidates shortlisted for the English subject interview. Additionally, in the mathematics subject, the highest score in the interview written test was 100 points, and the lowest was 90 points. Among the 21 candidates who passed the interview, 6 went on to undergo physical examinations, while 2 declined to take the exam. The remaining 13 failed the interview, including several candidates who achieved full marks in the written test, with some scoring 99 points.
Public information shows that Ji Hu Middle School is a public ordinary senior high school directly under the Foshan Education Bureau. It is a national-level model high school in Guangdong Province and a first-class school in Guangdong Province. In 2024, Foshan City carried out a reform of the school-running system for the former Sanshui Experimental Middle School, and thus Ji Hu Middle School was established.
