According to China Overseas Chinese Network, on the evening of August 4th, Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Thailand issued a statement stating that they apologized publicly for the incident where security personnel were photographed making suspected discriminatory gestures, and punished the involved staff members.
Statement: Around 11 PM on July 29th, some Chinese fans who were on flight TG674 of Thai Airways followed the Chinese artist on board. Without proper access rights, they entered the VIP area and were persuaded to leave by the staff. The fans continued to follow the artist into the boarding area. When it came time to verify their IDs, they refused to cooperate and attempted to board the plane with the artist. To prevent unauthorized persons from entering the cabin, the airline briefly closed the cabin doors, and security personnel took the relevant individuals back to the boarding hall.
The statement indicates that the airline evaluated the fans as not following safety regulations and expressed concerns that they might continue to cause trouble after boarding, making it difficult to control the situation after takeoff. Therefore, the airline decided to refuse 22 people on the flight, resulting in a delay.
Suanwanap International Airport said that 12 of them agreed to unload their checked baggage, while another 10 refused to cooperate. They expressed dissatisfaction with being denied boarding and provoked the staff during the process, leading to a conflict between both parties.
According to a report by Xiaoxiang Morning Post, an online video from the incident shows that during the negotiation conflict, a airport security personnel made an eye-contact gesture towards a Chinese passenger. This video has been widely shared on social media, causing controversy among public opinion.

According to the China Overseeers Network, Suvannaport Airport stated in its statement that the security personnel stopped the passengers to maintain aviation safety. However, they acknowledged that some of the personnel's actions were inappropriate and did not meet service standards. The personnel involved have been punished, and the airport has formally apologized for this incident.
