According to the WeChat public account "Lingshan Release", the Lingshan County Fire and Rescue Bureau issued a police report. At around 12:00 on August 2, 2026, a fire broke out in a building of Yuanyuanfeng Food Co., Ltd. in the Shili Industrial Park of Lingshan County. After receiving the report, departments such as the Fire and Rescue, Public Security, Emergency Management, and Health Department of Lingshan County immediately rushed to the scene to handle the situation. Four people were trapped at the scene, but all have been rescued. Two people died due to ineffective rescue efforts, and two people are injured and being treated in hospital; they are not in life-threatening condition.
Currently, the open fire has been extinguished, and related tasks such as the aftermath handling of the fire, the investigation into the cause of the incident, and the verification of personnel information are underway.
