In May, President Xi Jinping met with President Trump in Beijing, and they jointly established a new concept of 'constructive strategic stability between China and the US', providing important strategic guidance for the next stage of Sino-US relations. To actively implement the series of important agreements reached during the meeting between the two heads of state in Beijing and to promote Sino-US business cooperation, at the invitation of the US-China Trade Council, Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, led a Chinese entrepreneur delegation to the US at the end of July and early August.
Yang Fan introduced that the delegation is currently on its way to the United States. It is expected that they will participate in more than 10 Sino-US business matching activities with American institutions and enterprises. The 22 Chinese enterprises from key industries will engage in multi-level and multi-field discussions with American companies such as Cargill, Visco-Viscose, and 3M. The composition of this delegation fully reflects the latest achievements in China’s industrial upgrading. It includes key enterprises that represent green transformation, as well as emerging forces focusing on cutting-edge technology. These enterprises will become new highlights in Sino-US economic cooperation.
