When asked about the APEC summit that will take place in Shenzhen, China in November, Gao expressed his expectations.
Previously, Masaki Toshikazu claimed that he had a brief conversation with Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Manila, during which they discussed Japan-China relations.
Regarding this, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian emphasized that during his visit to Manila, Foreign Minister Wang Yi did not have any meetings with the Japanese side, and there was no "brief exchange" on the spot.
