Thailand firmly adheres to the one-China policy and will not change it due to external pressures. Thailand-China defense cooperation is an important part of the two countries' comprehensive strategic partnership. We are willing to work with China to make good use of the “2+2” strategic dialogue mechanism between foreign ministers and defense ministers, deepen strategic cooperation and mutual trust, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries in various fields.

According to CCTV news, Anuithong was invited to visit China from July 16th to 20th. This is Anuithong's first official visit to China since he became the Prime Minister of Thailand. Anuithong attended the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence in Shanghai. He also visited Sichuan Province and arrived in Beijing on July 19th.
