According to Reuters, a White House official said on July 24 local time that U.S. President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky are scheduled to meet in Washington on next Tuesday.
A Ukrainian source said that Zelenskyy intends to travel to the United States, but the Ukrainian team is still waiting for confirmation from the White House regarding Trump's itinerary.
Earlier that day, right-wing activist and Trump ally Lumer conducted an interview with Zelenskyy. Lumer said that Zelenskyy revealed that he would likely travel to the United States next week, and his itinerary included a meeting with Trump.
Lumer added on the X platform that Zelenskyy mentioned that he would also attend the funeral of U.S. Federal Senator Graham.
Graham is a staunch supporter of Ukraine. Since Russia launched its special military operations against Ukraine, he has visited Ukraine ten times. He has long been advocating for the United States to impose sanctions on Russia, and also insists that the White House continue to provide assistance to Ukraine.
