According to a report by Iran's Fars News Agency on July 19th local time, a source from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy in Iran revealed that 'as long as the United States continues its criminal actions, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed.'
According to the source, currently, no ships are passing through the Hormuz Strait, and any attempt to cross the strait will be dealt with by the Iranian armed forces.
Fars News Agency reported earlier that four vessels that violated regulations attempted to use unsafe routes, and they turned off their navigation systems and ignored warnings. Two of the vessels experienced accidents, while the other two were forced to abandon their voyage.
According to Middle Eastern media etemad online, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stressed on the 19th that full control of the Strait of Hormuz lies with their forces, and the only safe route for passage is the designated and announced route. "Without coordination and permission, not a single drop of oil, natural gas, or fertilizer will pass through the Strait of Hormuz."
