On July 19 local time, the World Cup final between the US, Canada, and Mexico was held at the New Jersey Stadium in New York. The Spanish team defeated the Argentine team 1-0 through a penalty kick, winning their second World Cup championship in team history! The Argentine team suffered a defeat against the Spanish team and finished as runners-up.
