On May 30th, at the 23rd Shangri-La Dialogue, the Philippine Defense Minister, in order to avoid normal questions from Chinese journalists, changed his route and left via a path around the hotels kitchen. Filipino journalists posted on social media, claiming that they cleverly avoided the waiting Chinese journalists.
