According to CNN, U.S. President Donald Trump said in a telephone interview with American media on the 18th local time that the deaths of two American soldiers in Jordan are 'a very sad matter'.
We are unwilling to witness such a thing happening. They sacrificed themselves when serving the nation. Trump said.
Trump spent the day at his private estate in Bedminster, New Jersey. So far, he has not made any public statements regarding the casualties of US military personnel.

The US military stated on the 18th that it has begun a new round of air strikes against Iran, in order to 'swiftly punish' Iran for the actions that led to the deaths of American soldiers.
The United States Central Command posted a statement on social media platform X: "This strike is aimed at further weakening Iran's ability to pose a threat to commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, and at swiftly punishing the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that launched attacks against American troops in Jordan last night."
The United States Central Command announced earlier that two American soldiers were killed, and another was missing during the operation. This is the first time since March this year that a member of the U.S. military has died in an attack by Iran.
