According to the website of Russia Today, on July 13 local time, Russian President Putin stated during a ceremony commemorating the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the All-Russian People's Front that any attacks against Russian territory would be met with a response from Russia that would be 'equal in intensity and several times more powerful'.
Putin emphasized: "Our retaliation will always be proportional. No matter where they attempt to launch an attack against Russia, we will respond with a several times stronger counterattack. The enemy will sense this. Hopefully, they already sense it. In the future, they will realize that the scale of our retaliation is continuously increasing."
He pointed out that the 'anti-Russian forces' in the West are confronting Russia, but Russia continues to move forward, improving its economy and military strength, and achieving new accomplishments in the field of national defense.
Putin also said that Russia "will undoubtedly achieve victory." The possibility of victory is also due to the unity of the people, who voluntarily donated nearly 70 billion rubles (about 6.2 billion yuan) through the "All-Russian People's Front" for special military operations.
The ‘All-Russian People’s Front’ was initiated by Putin in 2011, with the aim of uniting various supportive forces. In 2013, Putin officially became the supreme leader of this social movement.
Putin said: "Our strength lies in our ability to overcome all difficulties and fears. This makes us stronger. For this reason, we are undoubtedly moving forward, and will continue to do so."
