According to Iranian newspaper Tasnim on July 9th, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran stated that it has launched 10 ballistic missiles at a U.S. command center located in Western Asia, as well as an U.S. Air Force base in Jordan. They also warned that any further aggressive actions by the United States would trigger fierce attacks against other U.S. bases in the region.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that this missile attack is Iran's second response to recent American aggressive actions.
The statement says that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps previously warned that any further American attacks would expand the scope of Iran’s retaliation, including other American military bases in the region.
According to Reuters reports from that day, warnings were issued after Jordan's airspace detected missiles launched by Iran.
Jordanian government spokesman said that the armed forces have entered a high state of alert, ready to respond to any threat to Jordan's security.
