Trump Approval Rating Plummets Amidst Allegations of Personal Gain

According to USA Today, a latest poll conducted by The Economist and YouGov shows that 60% of Americans believe that Trump is using his power for personal gain. Since his second term in office, Trump's approval rating has remained at a very low level.

A poll released on July 7 showed that 60% of Americans believe Trump is using his presidential powers for personal gain. There is a huge divide among respondents from different political parties. 94% of Democratic respondents and 69% of independent voters supported this view, while only 16% of Republican respondents agreed with this opinion.

Reports indicate that recently there has been an increasing scrutiny of Trump’s business assets. This year, Trump revealed that his income related to cryptocurrencies amounted to over $1.4 billion, and he also received a private luxury aircraft gifted by Qatar.

The poll also showed that Trump’s net support rate was negative 25 percentage points, setting one of the lowest records during his two terms in office.

White House spokesman Engel issued a statement denying that Trump’s business assets would influence his policy decisions.

Ingle said: “All of Trump’s actions are guided by the greatest interests of the American people. Despite years of lies and false accusations against him and his company, the people have still voted overwhelmingly to send him back into the White House. This is the best proof. The assets under the president’s name are managed collectively through a trust established by his children.”
