According to reports from Reuters and the BBC, Australian Prime Minister Albenis apologized publicly for his vulgar remarks on July 6 local time. Previously, he claimed that he would be willing to have sexual relations with Australian actress Kelly Milan.
In a comedy podcast interview, host Osborne asked Alabinis which of the three Australian female celebrities he would choose to marry, date, or have sex with. The term “shag” in Australian slang means to have sexual intercourse and is a rather vulgar expression.
In November last year, Albenis married his partner Jody Hayden, making him the first Australian leader to marry while in office.
Therefore, when faced with the question, Alabinis initially refused to answer, mentioning that he had just gotten married. But Osborne continued to press the issue. Assuming his marriage would fail, who would he choose? Alabinis replied, 'Obviously, Kelly.'
"Will you marry Kailani and have sex with her, and also date her?" Osborn said.
"I'll have everything," Albanez replied, "She's amazing."

Albanis's remarks were criticized by several opposition party members in Australia. Senator Sarah Henson said that his comments were " disrespectful to women, embarrassing for Australians, and undermine the dignity of the Prime Minister's position."
Rep. Zell Stegler said that the prime minister's remarks were "completely inappropriate," and added that he "needs to learn to say no, set an example, and clearly indicate that this is gender discrimination."
On the 6th day, Albini responded in a brief statement: “I apologize without reservation for these remarks.”
Reuters reported that Australia is known for its casual culture, and politicians in the country are often asked about issues related to popular culture and sports during interviews.
Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles responded to media reports that the government is "fully committed" to improving women's status in society. "We occasionally also receive some different interviews, I think it would be necessary to add, this administration is the first in history to achieve gender parity within the Cabinet."
