On July 1st, local time, a diplomatic source familiar with the talks told CNN that American and Iranian officials are holding indirect, low-level technical talks in Doha through intermediaries from Qatar and Pakistan.
The source added that U.S. Special Envoy Vittkov and President Trump’s son-in-law Kushner did not attend the talks in person, but they met with Qatar’s Prime Minister in Doha on Tuesday to pave the way for the indirect negotiations scheduled for Wednesday.
